I chose Mount Union for graduate school because of the amazing education I received as an undergraduate at Mount Union.

Choosing Mount for education leadership was truly a choice that was a no brainer.

Mount Union not only has passionate professors that are unlike any others but they also offer an online masters degree. This allowed me to keep my full time teaching and coaching jobs while pursuing my dream to be an administrator.

The projects that I've completed in my first three classes have helped me to understand education from a different point of view and have energized me in my teaching

I felt that I could still do the day-to-day tasks required of a college football coach (ie: travel, game prep, recruiting etc) as well as continue my educational goals and earning a masters degree.

My major in exercise science helped prepare me with prerequisites needed to obtain a master’s degree and gave me real life experience with patients.

Overall, Mount Union is an amazing program and there is not just one thing that this program does to help prepare us for our careers. 

Professor Kunes recognized my nerves, made eye contact that made it feel like he was looking into my soul, and said 'It's okay to be nervous, we understand. Just remember that we are here to get to know you, but you are also here to get to know us.'

Mount Union's program was an easy choice for me. From the very start they made me feel like I was a part of the Raider family and have only progressed ever since.

I loved the idea that Mount Union was a fairly new program because of their innovative approach to teaching PT and state-of-the-art facilities. 

Mount Union's DPT program is so different from the rest because the professors are so dedicated to the students and it shows. I am from Illinois, and I didn't really want to go far from family, but I knew this was the place for me!

Quite simply, I wouldn't be in this position if it wasn't for Mount Union and this program.

I knew PA school would be a challenging journey no matter where I went, but I felt the professors at Mount Union could offer unparalleled comfort and support while still challenging me to become the best provider I can be. 

Traveling abroad to help those in need with few medical resources is a once in a lifetime experience because students learn what the importance of working in the medical field is.

When I interviewed, I immediately felt at home with everyone that I met. I could tell that the professors here genuinely cared about their students' overall well-being, not only their academic accomplishments.

When people used to ask me "What do you want to be when you grow up?", I remember saying a teacher, influenced by those in my family. When exploring careers, I found that as a physician assistant I could pursue both my interests of science and education to educate patients about their health.

While it seems cliché, I have always loved the idea of working in a patient-focused career where I am helping people. I knew that I wanted to provide high quality patient care and be immersed in the treatment of each individual without going to school for a long time.

The tradition and history of the University are prestigious. I wanted to be apart of that and pursue excellence both on and off the field.

Getting to sharpen my skills, learn new material, and dialogue with other educators has been everything I needed to continue to serve my students and their families.
